SOL – Summer Coffee 2025

SOL – A summer coffee to be enjoyed in the nearest park, gazebo, beach or wherever the spirit strikes. We have roasted a fusion of coffee beans that are extra lively in this bright season and together they offer a sun-drenched, flavorful, round, full-bodied and fruity blend, suitable for all brewing methods, including cold brew.

THIS YEAR`S SOL-BLEND

Colombia Santa Monica (Fully Washed)

The 2025 SOL gets its basic character from a wet-processed coffee bean that comes from one of our most frequent coffee producers, Jairo Arcila, who runs the Santa Monica farm in the Quindio region. Jairo is something of a modern legend in Colombian specialty coffee and we've had several experimental lots from him in the past. But here it is his more traditionally washed caturra that has added sweetness and balance to this year's SOL.

Kenya Oreti & Chania (Fully Washed)

The second coffee in the blend, is a bean from the French Mission variety, processed and grown by Boyce Harris in Kenya. We've worked with him and his family for five years and his coffees - from the Chania and Oreti farms - never disappoint. In this year's SOL, they add a refreshing juicy acidity.

El Salvador San Andres Pacamara (Natural)

The third coffee in the blend comes from the Magana family who grow and process amazing coffees, including this natural Pacamara, which adds fruit, balance and smoothness to the blend.

– Colombia Santa Monica Honey Castillo Lulu

Finally, we have added a few percent of Jairo Arcila's experimental Castillo. Here he has fermented Honey beans together with juice from Lulo fruit, which brings tropical fruit notes to the coffee.
