We are Gringo Nordic, a curious little coffee roasting company in Gothenburg, Sweden.

We source 100 % fully transparent speciality coffees from single farms, estates and cooperatives. A lot of the coffees come from organically certified farms. But a lot of the coffee comes from much smaller plantations, where a certification would not be economically possible. But we support them anyway, there is often a lot of good intentions behind each farmer, especially the ones that work with quality. They do not want to act stupid on the planet, and generally avoid the high costs of fertilizers to any cost.

Juba means mountain in Mepha, the language spoken by the producers—mainly women—who produce this popular sun-dried coffee. The coffee is part of a long-term project aimed at strengthening coffee's position in the Guerrero region.

This wet-processed Single Producer lot comes from producer Tadese Teko in the Yirgacheffe region. The Single Farmer project is the result of an initiative to support Ethiopian producers with a marketplace for coffee that can be traced back to its place of origin.

We hand roast all our coffee in the most energy efficient roasting machine on the planet.

Our coffee comes from different parts of the world, different coffee farmers with different cultivation methods and drying processes. Common is that there is a lot of work time and love behind every coffee. To develop all these wonderful taste characters, we roast each coffee with its own roasting profile (temperature and time) to highlight the distinctive flavors. To help us, we have the most modern and energy-efficient roasting machine on the planet.
