Äntligen har vi lyckats köpa och rosta detta fantastiska kaffe igen, precis som förra gången, utlovas en arombild och karaktär som inte liknar något annat kaffe.

This small micro-lot - which is true flavor smasher - comes from the Velez family on the farm Finca La Ricaurte in the Huila region. The 150-hectare farm acts as a protective barrier for surrounding forests and water sources (where over 50 hectares are natural rainforest). On the farm - which is located at 1700-2000 meters altitude  - they mainly grow the variety Caturra, with which they do small wonders.

The coffee on this micro-lot has been picked by hand, peeled from its pulp, fermented in steel tanks for 92 hours with carbon dioxide and then dried for three weeks in its own sugar. The result is a complex, herbal and flavorful coffee with a stylish elegance. Here we find flavors such as rhubarb, mint, yellow fruit, sun-ripened peach and orange peel.
